Risen Energy Co., Ltd. is a Chinese company engaged in the production, sale and service of solar modules in the budget segment. The company was formerly known as Ninghai Risen Electric Co., Ltd., but changed its name to Risen Energy Co., Ltd. in 2009. Founded in 1986, the company is headquartered in Ningbo, China.

The company’s production facilities are located in China and Vietnam, in addition, in 2015, the company signed an agreement with the local authorities of Mongolia for the construction of a 1 GW plant, where 200 MW of solar modules will be produced annually. Also in 2018, another 5 GW solar module plant was launched in China.
